Hello fellow otaku, this page will be intended for my review for the best anime yet in 2020 – God of High School. This review page will be updated as I continue to watch all its episodes. By far, I have watched the recent 4th Episode.
Overview
The anime is about a fighting tournament known as God of High School. This fighting event is participated by strong students in Korea. Among the participant is the main character Mori Jin who is a Taekwando specialist.
Jin meets some friends in the tournament – Yu Mira and Han DaeWi. The anime will be about the story of these 3 characters who have different goals in reaching the top of the tournament.
Do you recommend this anime?

Episode 4:Marriage/Bonds
When I watch an anime, it has to make me laugh or smile to keep me interested and this is where GOH is really good at.
The opening song is also pretty cool, I could use it on my exercise routines. I love the beat and intensity.
Episode 4 gives us some highlights on the exciting fight that’s about to happen in the next episodes.
Its focus is on the life of Mira and its Moon Light Sword Style. Though there are funny scenes in this episode, it will surely touch your heart knowing the sacrifices of a girl who was bestowed with big responsibility since she was a child.
So you might be wondering why she is dressed that way, you have to watch this episode to find out. Would you agree that we looked way better without glasses and when dressed elegantly?
Now don’t get fooled. You might think at first that this episode will be non-sense, you’ll be surprised at what you’ll uncover later parts in the episode aside from Mira’s life.
And when we talk about GOH, it’s impossible not to have an entertaining fight scene. But I think they could have given more to it. It would have been more interesting if the fights lasted for even just a minute longer.

Episode 3: Wisdom/Kingdom
The start of episode 3 introduces us to some of the main villains in the anime. They are a group of hooded people. It would certainly be great to see what this group is up to and how they will face our main characters. And as expected, episode 3 has some great action scenes that will surely make you fall in love with this anime.
When its time to get serious, everything gets serious from the action scenes, character design, and animation. The best part is that they also know how to add some fun in the anime.
Episode 2: Renewal/Soul
In episode 2 we were entertained with more actions fights with the start of the God of High School tournament. Here, there are already characters that standouts because of their unique fighting style. Among these is the guy who reads a book while fighting.
Aside from the excellent fight scenes, the characters are very interesting as well.
Episode 1: Set up/Stand up
Right from the bat, episode 1 offers an exciting event where our main character is chasing a vehicle using a bicycle. Along the way, he encounters the other main characters in the anime Mira and Daewi. We also got a sneak peek of their potential strength.
After watching the first episode, I immediately have known that this anime would be one of the greatest this year 2020. I think that the hype is real.
A lot of anime fans including me loves anime series with violence. For today I have compiled the best violent anime 2020. Feel free to go through this list below and let me know your thoughts.
The God of High School
The number one on my list would be the very famous anime in 2020 which is The God of High School. The general theme of the show is to determine who is the strongest of them all. And on this note, expect the show to highlight violence. There will be a lot of fights to the extent of killing their enemy.
The character will use whatever it takes to win. They will use all means possible to achieve victory and to be on top. By the time of writing this article the anime only has 3 Episodes. But, it is already very promising.
It has a lot of action fights starting from episode 1. If you love violent fighting anime, you should not miss watching this GOH.
The anime also has a lot of interesting main characters – Jin Mo-ri, Han Dae-wi, and Yu Mi-ra. For me, The God of High School is an anime that got it all making it thus far the best anime 2020.
Gibiate
Another promising violent anime in 2020 is Gibiate. The show is set in a world where there is a virus that transforms people into monsters. The violence in this anime is targeted mostly towards these monsters. However, there are also times when violence is on other human beings.
As we all know, in an apocalyptic scenario like this where a virus takes over the world and turns everyone into monsters, people will not only be dealing with monsters to survive. They also have to survive from being killed by other humans who also just wanted to survive.
With monsters all around the place, expect to see a Gorefest anime. We could also label this anime as Violent sci-fi anime due to the emergence of mutants or monsters. If you are into an anime genre were people fight against monsters, then you need to watch this anime.
This Gore anime 2020 will surely be a hit considering that the main character – Sensui is using a sword as his main weapon and all hush comrades also use unique weapons with the main purpose of killing the enemy.

Demon slayer (2019)
Most likely you have already watched this anime considering your looking for a demon anime to watch. However, if you haven’t watched it yet, check the trailer below and I am most certainly sure what you will do next.
Demon Slayer anime is the story of a man named Tanjiro whose entire family was murdered by a demon. The only one left was his sister Nezuko but it turned out that she’s turned into a demon. Tanjiro starts a journey to find a cure to make his sister human again.
This anime became a hit because of its excellent character design, top-notched animation, wonderful and compelling story. And I would let you know in advance that all the action scenes in this anime will surely keep you at the edge of your seat. The fight scenes are jaw-dropping. You will certainly enjoy every Demon Slayer episode you’ll watch.
How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord (2018)
This anime show is another anime with an overpowered main character. If you a fan of this genre, this would surely excite you. It’s an Isekai anime where our main character was transported to another world where he becomes a character in a game called Diablo.
I think Sakamoto or Diablo in the fantasy world is an excellent main character. He is pretty funny and very much likable. Even though he is very much powerful, he doesn’t mindlessly use it. He uses the strategies he learned while playing online games. The other 2 main characters are Rem and Shera. Rem is kind of a serious type while Shera is the funny one. Basically, this demon lord anime is about the journey of these 3 characters.
When it comes to animation, it’s good enough for me. But there are times that I find it too simple especially the characters. I would say that it is a good show and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind some ecchi content.
Black Butler (2014)
This anime show has a good balance of drama and comedy. Even though it’s an old anime, it does not make it less interesting. It’s one of those anime series that you’ll enjoy even if it has been released some years ago. Each character is interesting enough to keep you watching it. In this anime, a lot f non-human creatures are included like reapers, demons, and angels.
The story of the anime follows the life of an orphan, Ciel Phantomhive. He is in the pursuit of finding the people who killed his parents. I would highly recommend this anime especially those who are a fan of classic anime.
The Demon Girl Next Door (2019)
The demon girl next door is a new anime that you should also not miss watching. Though it’s not that great compared to other anime series like Demon Slayer, it still a good watch for sure.
Go watch this anime if you are looking for one that will give you a good laugh. The anime is silly and pretty much hilarious throughout. It is not just a demon anime with magic powers but it also has a slice of life touch. The main characters are pretty much effective in bringing fun to this anime. Especially the main characters Yuuko and Momo. It’s not the usual show since its a demon girl anime. We all know that most often, demon anime characters are boys.
Inuysha (2009)
This classic demon anime is a must-watch for everyone. I suggest anyone new to anime should watch this first. Though it’s an old anime, you’ll certainly enjoy watching it especially the love story of the main characters Inuyasha and Kagome.
The whole story is entertaining, the characters are likable and easy to remember plus good artwork. All these make the anime so good to follow. Though it’s a fun anime, you will discover that it also has its dark and violent side. I think this makes it more interesting.
Yu Yu Hakusho (1992)
Yu Yu Hakusho is yet another classic anime where our main characters battle different kinds of demon in a different world. Even our main character Yusuke has the blood of a demon. He journeys together with his friends Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara in order to protect the Earth from evil people.
Though the anime is old, you’ll still enjoy the fight scenes in this anime. The characters are very much interesting as well so you’ll be motivated to watch all its episodes. It’s a good story about true friendship.
Demon Lord, Retry! (2017)
Demon Lord, Retry is an isekai anime. It’s the story of Hakuto Kunai who got transported to a fantasy world where his body is one of his online game characters. He eventually met Aku which he saved and their story started from there.
The first thing I noticed with this anime is that it does not take the serious type of anime like Overlord and Goblin Slayer. In the first few episodes I have watched, it tries to make things lighter with some funny scenes. Which most of the time worked, in my own perspective.
Devil Is A Part-Timer! (2013)
This show is an isekai anime where the main protagonist the Devil himself got transported to the real world. So it’s kind of a unique setup where the main character is transported to a fantasy world. This time, its the Demon King – Satan who was sent to the real world as an escape route.
And since the anime devil known as Satan is now on the real world, of course, he could not anymore use his powers to the fullest. That is why he is trying to survive as a normal person who works in a fast-food restaurant.
What I liked about this anime is its fun to watch. It’s entertaining enough to keep on watching each episode.
High School dxd (2012)
If you are a fan of harem, genre, then you’ll definitely love this demon anime. The best thing with high school DXD is it has a good storyline. This fact together with cool characters and funny scenes makes it an enjoyable anime to watch.
The whole story of this anime is quite simple which makes it great. It’s not too dragging and complicated, just enough to make it fun. The animation and character design are both excellent. Though something changed a bit on Season 4. I think the previous 3 seasons were better in terms of animation and design. I would recommend this anime to anyone even those who just started watching anime.
Demon King Daimao (2010)
Demon King Daimao is the story of Akuto Sai who went to a magical academy. Unfortunately for Akuto, he also learned in this school that his future job will be a Demon King. After people learned about this, all eyes are on him including all villains.
The good thing about this anime is the different plot it offers to viewers. But, if you are looking for a serious type of anime, this will not entertain you. However, if you want to have a good laugh while watching an anime, then it’s one that you should try.
When it comes to the artwork, it is not outstanding but good enough for me. The animation is better compared to individual character designs. You will surely have fun watching this anime considering how fun the main characters are. I suggest when you watch this anime, don’t try to expect something, just enjoy it and you’ll definitely end up having a good laugh.

The Promised Neverland anime is among the greatest anime of 2019. It's an excellent horror anime to watch with an amazing ending. The main story is this anime is the quest of some kids trying to break away from their cruel fate. It has interesting characters, the main protagonists are not monotonous. You'll discover more about them as the episodes unfold. In general, when it comes to animation and art, though it's not exceptional, it's still good. This new anime definitely has exceeded a lot of expectations. It has an excellent story, interesting characters, and a good animation.

Parasyte (2014)
Another excellent anime in the horror genre is Parasyte. The very first time I saw it, I was immediately hooked. Maybe it's because of the interesting character and the story itself. I find the story unique and very much entertaining that is why watching from one episode to another is not a problem. It is set in an apocalyptic time which one of my preferences in watching an anime. Aside from being a horror anime, I also find it full of heart and emotion. You will know once you watch the anime.

When we Cry (2006)
Though not that much of a horror anime, since this anime comes with a lot of brutalities, this earned its slot on our list. Generally, when you watch this anime, it will be mostly about trying to find the hidden truths. It's an anime with a big amount of mystery. The setting is in a village with a bloody practice and beliefs. And during this time, people could just suddenly disappear and people believe that such incident the action of their patron God. The anime is a series of stories or arcs that start in a terrifying scene then everything goes back to the time before such a scene was reached.
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (2016)
This horror anime got me hooked right from the first episode. The main characters are cool and exciting to watch especially on the fight scenes. It has an engaging story plus even the antagonists are something that you'll also look forward to watching. The setting is in the horrific and apocalyptic time of Zombies. If you are a fan of the walking dead and Attack on Titan, you should consider watching this one. Aside from being a horror anime it still has a taste of drama and some good funny moments.
Deadman Wonderland (2011)
This anime is certainly one of the best thriller, horror anime I have watched. It's an underrated anime with good action scenes. The story of the anime is about the survival of humankind after a great earthquake occurred that destroyed most of Tokyo. The introduction of the main character comes with a terrific murder scene where his entire class was murdered. As to what happens next after this, its for you to find out. The best thing about this anime is its unique battles and interesting characters. And for a horror show, it's dark and bloody.
Devilman Crybaby (2018)
This anime is excellent. I like the amazing characters in this story and the unusual, unique art style. It's an entertaining anime that will surely make you cry. There are scenes in this show that are very disturbing and gory. This anime in 2018 is a remake of a classic anime. And personally, I think the people behind this were able to do it well. The anime and soundtrack are both great. The fight scenes are awesome and you will surely appreciate how detailed the character designs were. This anime will keep you excited till the end with its story about blood, drugs and community horror.
From the New World (2008)
This is a multi-layered mystery anime series a very interesting villain. Though the art is kind of cheap on some occasions, the weight of the characters filled this gap. The anime is full of suspense, horror, and mystery. The story started showing the simple life of students then it slowly changed into a dangerous adventure. The art style and animation are not that great, but it's still good enough. I would recommend watching this anime mainly because of its interesting story. It's an excellent anime for mystery and horror fans in the anime world.
Tokyo Ghoul (2018)
This is a must-see anime for those who are into the violent and horror genre. One of the good things about this anime is that you could feel the intense feeling of the characters. Like when they are stressed, in fear and about to die. It had successfully lived up to its genre by making its audience feel intense emotions. The anime is set in a world where there are Ghouls. These are creatures who do not eat regular food. Instead, they take as food the blood, flesh, and organs of human beings. The anime revolves around the story of Kanenki who simply wanted to have a normal life but ended up becoming a Ghoul.
School-Live! (2015)
It's another zombie outbreak anime and since Zombies are here, it's an anime I did not miss. It has a unique story and a unique main character. Though it does not stand-out among the zombie-horror anime, it's still a good one to watch. The art style and animation are not that good and the story is not that much compelling as well. However, I would way that I still have fun watching it.

The Rising of the Shield Hero

The anime is the story of 4 heroes from modern Japan summoned to another world where their kingdom is troubled by Waves of Catastrophe. Among these 4 heroes is our main character Naofumi. Though being a hero is already great in itself and is what you would most likely want in a new place, the slight problem is that he doesn’t have any weapon. He became known as the shield hero.
It all started when Naofumi was in a library finding some light novels to read. which is his usual practice. If he is not at home, he goes out to the library. Here, he found a book about 4 heroes saving a kingdom. As he continues to browse the pages, a light suddenly engulfs the area and he was sent to another world.
It’s quite interesting to see how our shield hero would be able to help the Kingdom deal with its problems. As Naofumi learns about the place, he also experiences the challenges of getting a shield instead of a real weapon.
Some of the good parts of The Rising of the Shield Hero are its interesting characters especially Naofumi and its unusual story. When it comes to animation and overall visual effects, we could give this anime good praise. Certainly worth watching for isekai fans. This anime is also among the best anime 2019.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun

I personally think that this anime is pretty fun to watch. The story is about our main character Iruma who got sold to a demon by his irresponsible parents. The good part is that instead of being eaten by the demon, he was made the demon’s grandson.
He was sent to a demon school. This is where all the fun happens since everyone in the school are demons except for Iruma. So his new granddad has to do everything in order to keep his secret that Iruman is indeed human.
The art is beautiful, the sound is not that great but still well done for me. The characters are really fun to watch. You will surely have a good laugh every episode of this in another world anime.
Magi’s Grandson

Our main character here is a typical office worker who usually ends up working even past working hours. One day, in his usual schedule of staying late in his work, its time to go home and while on the street he met an accident and died. He was reincarnated in another world were people could use magic.
At a young age of 8, Shin Wolford could now use magic. He is a grandson of a famous magician in their place, also considered a hero – Merlin Wolford. Shin could not just use magic, at a very young age its surprising how he could easily learn everything that Merlin teaches him. He seems to have a natural gift with using magic and also have high skills when it comes to martial arts.
Upon arriving in the right age, he is enrolled in a magic academy where his journey will start. Kenja no mago is the story of Shin in his high school life learning more about life and being with friends. Plus, dealing with demons in and around the city.
Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious

Probably among the best isekai 2019. I was even more impressed after watching the last episode of this anime. The story is about our protagonist Ryuuguuin, Seiya who was summoned to another world by a Goddess known as Ristarte. Seiya is a very strong and powerful heor but a very cautious one. And we can safely say that Ristarte is quite a useless Goddess that is why he needed the help of a hero.
Their journey is to save the world from 4 demon lords. It’s not as serious as The Rising of a Shield Hero, it’s more on the Sitcom Comedy side. The art is good enough and the animation is not that bad as well. Nothing to complain about this part.
The Cautious Hero has an excellent sound effect and opening theme. And I would give it a 9/10 when it comes to the characters. If you are looking for a fun isekai anime to watch, you’ve already found one.
Demon Lord, Retry!

Demon Lord, Retry! is not that great but good enough for me. What’s special about this anime is its fun to watch. Though you would not appreciate much its characters and animation, the good thing is it could leave you with a good laugh. Which is better compared to seeing a serious type of anime with a very poor animation.
If you are expecting something as epic as Overlord, you will surely be disappointed. However, if you are simply looking for an isekai anime that you could enjoy watching in your free time, you’re probably for a good ride.
The story is about a game developer who was suddenly transported to a game world. He became a character that he had created. His journey centers around saving lolis and taking them under his wing. This another world anime is worth watching.
Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!

This anime is a good isekai anime. The main characters von Ascham, Adele, Reina, Pauline and Mavis are fun and entertaining to watch. The character designs are not that excellent but not too bad as well.
The story is about Misato Kurihara who is not your typical person since she stood out most of the time. Everything in life is quite easy for her. However, she encountered a sudden death and was transported to another world.
Before being reincarnated in a new world, she was granted one wish. With this, she wished to experience and ordinary life – we wanted to be an average person. So she was reborn as von Ascham. Did the gods granted her wish? It’s for you to find out.

This anime is about the unlikely journey of Masato and his mom Mamako in the world of fantasy online game. I think it is the first that we will see a mother involved in an Isekai anime. Though being in a game world is what most teenager gamers dream of, being accompanied by their mom is a different story.
Everything happened so fast. In a normal day, he was just trying to fill-up a survey by the government. A woman came to their home and after a few introductions did something to his computer, then suddenly Masato suddenly finds himself in a tunnel of light going inside a game.
The only thing I don’t like about this anime is the harem setup. I personally am not a fan of fan service, so I don’t appreciate too much harem. Aside from this, I am also not quite impressed with the animation and design. The animation reminds me of Isekai Cheat Magician.
High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World

This anime is about a group of Japanese students who are considered prodigies due to their unbelievable talents. Each member of the group specializes in a different field. The students from Japan were sent to another world where they help in dealing with various issues. And due to their talents/skills, they are considered as the hope of this new world they got transported to.
I continued to watch this anime mainly because of the excellent character design of the female characters and good animation. When it comes to its plot/story, I think it falls short on this part. I’ll consider Choyoyui as an average isekai anime.
Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest

The story of Arifureta revolved around a high schooler named Hajime Nagamo who got transported to another world together with his classmates. Our protagonist Hajime is an every date otaku so being summoned to another world is somewhat a dream come true.
In the new world, they were considered heroes and are expected to save the human race. Everything seems so cool aside from the fact that Hajime is the weakest in the group. Thus, he is often bullied for being weak.
Everything changed for him when they went on training at a Labyrinth. What happened on the Labyrinth? It’s something that you have to discover.
Isekai Cheat Magician

Yes, from the name itself this is another Isekai anime. What I did find a unique feature right of the bat is the fact that the male protagonist was sent to another world together with a female partner.
Right on the first episode, you’ll see how OP our main characters are – Rin and Taichi. Some may hate this concept but I know others will find it interesting. It was interesting for me so I have watched until the 5th episode. What decided me to stop watching this anime is its poor animation. I guess it would have been a good one if the character designed were well done and animation is good. It’s what most fans would look for in an isekai anime.
So yeah, if there are other options to choose from, I do not suggest watching this anime. I decided to include it in this isekai anime list since it was quite promising but just did not live up to the expectation of many.
So there you go, these are the top isekai anime 2019 that you might want to watch if you are a fan of this type of anime.
One of my favorite anime so far is I hate being in pain so I think I’ll make a full defense build. Yes, I know your first thought, what a wild title. I could not even understand how they were able to carefully came up with this long title. Well, don’t be fooled, since this anime is a good one.
I actually did not try watching it when I first saw the anime in the thumbnails and got more interested in other anime like Plunderer and Darwin’s Game. But, then after watching all its 5 episodes so far, I think this would be a great anime to watch. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an anime 2020 to watch.
And before I forget, if you do not want to use the long title, you could also call the anime as “Bofuri”. It’s already the preferred title on twitter.
Story
This anime is about the journey of Kaede as she plays the VRRMO game called New World Online. Though is not the type of person who is addicted to this kind of game, she made the decision to give it a try due to her persistent friend Risa. She started the game on her own then her friend Risa followed afterward. Her name in the game is Maple.
I think that the title itself would somehow give you an idea of what the story is all about. The main character does not want to get hurt so he decided to allocate all his game points to defense. Usually, to start an online game you allocate points evenly on your stats then slowly decide which one to focus on in the latter parts.
The case of the main character is definitely something that most tankers can relate to. Though I do not play that much online game, when I do, I also go for the tank build since my brother places most of his points to Agility, giving him so much damage.
Yes, since our main characters are mostly in a different world, this could be considered as an Isekai Anime. However, it’s not the same as other famous isekai anime where the main characters were trapped in the game or in another world. Here, people who are playing the game could log in and logout without issues.
But, we still don’t know what would happen in this anime since so far, it still has 5 episodes aired. So maybe there could be a twist in the future episodes. That we don’t know and one thing we should watch out for. It’s not impossible, right?
And so far, in most popular isekai, the main character is male. In BOFURI I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense, it’s a she – a female loli. This makes the anime cute while still being exciting and fun to watch.
Is the Main Character OP?
Yes, in this anime, BOFURI – Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu, the main character Maple is OP right from the beginning. Due to his overwhelming capability, the admins of the game decided to run an update to present Maple from becoming too strong which might affect the e is Devour skill and Total Defense is pretty useful. And now that i have come to think about it, the beginning story is somehow similar to Reincarnated as a Slime anime where the main character started somewhat weak. For maple, its because he decide to be on full defence. However, they slowly realize how powerful their acquired skills are which helps them easily outpower opponents.

Maple is our main character and her name in the real world is Kaede. Since she’s a newbie, she decided to max her defense in order to avoid getting hurt. And for her first item, of course, she got a shield.
Even though Maple doesn’t want to get hurt or to feel pain, she doesn’t hesitate to protect his friends in times of need. She shields them from being hit by a powerful attack.
The best trait of Maple is she’s pretty friendly that is why asking other players regarding some parts of the game was not that hard for her. She doesn’t think about levels. When she needs to know something she asks.

Sally is a great pair for Maple since Sally is an attack type. She is also a main character in this anime. Mapple and Sally are best friends in real life so its not a surprise for them to complement each other. Since Maple is in full defense, she relies on Sally to do most of the critical hits. But this does not mean that Maple can’t attack. You’ll need to see the anime to discover how powerful she is when it comes to attacking.
Aside from attacks, Sally also has a very useful skill which is “heal”. This is quite useful whenever Maple gets some damage. This just shows that their duo is very much effective.

I think the animation for this anime is totally great. The character design is on point and very colorful. I have no complains with the design, animation and even the sound track. This just shows how I love this anime. And I’m pretty sure many would also be intereste.
Episode 4
If ever you are the different type and found the first 3 episodes as boring or something that is usual, I highly suggest you watch until Episode 4 and decide from there if you want to continue watching or not. I bet you will definitely check out episode 5.
There are important things that were introduced in Episode 4 that made this anime look more interesting and unique. I have become pretty much excited on what would come in the next episodes. The developers also did a great job of ending each episode with something that would make you look forward to the next one.
Conclusion
Though I really love this anime so far, I also think that there is nothing epic to it so far. Just your typical MMO game anime where the characters go on an adventure, use their powers, skills then rank up. However, it’s definitely fun to watch.
It’s unique and not the same as other serious isekai anime like SAO or Log Horizon. This one is more centered on the fun part of gaming anime.

Darwin’s Game is an anime series that was launched in January 2020 and is definitely a must-watched. The very first thing that you’ll notice in this anime is its 40 min. first episode. I personally think it was a good decision by the creators since it gave me more time to really appreciate the anime. After around 20 mins. of watching, I have this feeling that this anime would be big. Of course, it still depends on what would unfold in the following episodes. There is definitely a lot of exciting anime 2020 and Darwin’s Game is definitely among them.
Story
The anime is about a mysterious game called Darwin’s Game. I will not dive into the details of the game to avoid any spoilers. So once you enter the game, you can play with other players. However, this is not your typical friendly game since there is a high reward and of course a very high risk.
Upon entering that game, you will be given a certain skill or power and it’s called Sigil. For example, one Sigil could let you manipulate plants, water, fire, make you disappear and a lot more. So you’ll be able to get one. The more you get used to using your Sigil, the more powerful you become.

Main Characters
The main characters in this anime series are Shuka and Kaname. Shuka is already a veteran in the game and has a very powerful sigil. She is able to use it naturally. Kaname will be our newbie protagonist who just entered the game and is doing his best to survive.
Shuka
I like the mysterious character of Shuka. There seems to be something deep in her that you could see through her eyes. Aside from the nice red outfit she wears, her personality is also captivating. She remains calm in every situation and is very confident when it comes to dealing with opponents.
Kaname
On the other hand, Kaname is somehow the opposite of Shuka. He doesn’t want any fight and as much as possible try to avoid any unwanted situations that would put him at risk. He also has a powerful Sigil but he still has a long way to master it. It’s interesting to see the development of Kaname as the anime progresses. To give you an idea, Kaname’s Sigil lets him get in his hand anything that he would think of, as long as he has touched or seen that certain thing already. Looks like insane right? But of course, it has some limitations which is something that you need to find out yourself. So go watch this anime now.
Anime Genre
This anime falls mainly to the fictional game genre with a serious theme. But, though it a serious anime, it still has some good light moments. Since most of the characters here have powers, so you could also categorize it as an anime with supernatural power and action.
Animation and Soundtrack
I would say the developers did a great job on the soundtrack of this anime. It simply makes watching more exciting. Plus it has a nice opening and ending song theme.
The overall animation is quite good as well. It makes the action more interesting to watch. If I rate animation as 8/10, I would say the characters are 7/10. I personally did not fight the character design outstanding. It does not have a feeling that would make it stand out among the other new anime series this year compared to Plunderer.
Episode 1 was thrilling enough for me to watch the whole 40 mins and to continue watching until the current 5th episode.

I would highly recommend you watch this anime if you are looking for an anime to watch this 2020. It has an interesting concept, nice animation, and a great story so far. The developers were also able to successfully make this anime fast pace, without overdoing it. The pacing is good and every episode has something new to offer.

The very first reason I fell in love with this anime is its animation. Considering that its a martial arts anime, a great animation would certainly make it a great anime to watch. Then after watching several episodes, I realized there are a lot of positives about this anime.
Number one is its story. Though there are a lot of flashbacks in the episodes I have watched so far, I think it’s important to establish the entire story. Plus, they were able to supplement it with action-packed scenes.
Second, the characters are very interesting including the supporting casts. You can easily tell them apart. Our main protagonist here is Wei Wuxian who is very fun to watch and always has an outgoing personality.
Overall all, the art, animation and soundtrack are all good making it a good anime to watch. And mind you, some are even calling it a masterpiece. The moment you start watching it, you’ll get hooked.

Among the things that I liked about this anime is its amazing art. Most Chinese anime I have watched so far has great art and nice animation. Plus, it has a very interesting plot which would make you want to continue watching it. And the main and supporting characters are quite interesting as well.
What makes me sad though is the short time per episode, it would have been much better if it’s the same as the usual time for an anime episode.

The main characters in this anime are Hina and Licht. Both are interesting characters and definitely, their story would be exciting to watch.
Plunderer has great anime so far being able to watch its first 3 episodes. I also would give a thumbs up to the nice character details – it has been constantly nice so far. The opening and ending theme songs are nice too.
Though there is still a lot to see in this anime, it certainly among the promising ones this year. It’s a shounen adventure and action anime that you don’t want to miss out on.

What I liked best about Bofuri is it’s more focused on entertainment and adventure. So far, watching 6 episodes I did not see any serious part of this anime. It’s something that I think would continue the entire series. So if you simply want to enjoy the isekai genre, you’ll certainly love this.
It also has emphasized its gaming characteristics like leveling, acquiring skills, game events, guilds and a lot more. Thus, online gamers would certainly love this.
The main characters Maple and Sally are really cute and fun to watch especially Maple. She is a newbie when it comes to online gaming but you’ll love to see how he defeats anyone who tries to battle her.
When it comes to art, music, and animation, everything is great. It’s really exciting to see what adventures they will take especially not that they already have their guild.

At first, I really think that this anime will not be that good. However, after watching the first episode, I got hooked. Darwin’s Game is an action anime with a touch of gaming. Our main character Kaname got invited in a mysterious game and after accepting it, he became part of the game without knowing the risks.
In the game, he met other interesting characters like Shuka, Rein, Souta, Sui and others. Together, they try to survive the game and find a way on how to finish it.
The action scenes in this anime are exciting and fun to watch. The MC is not too overpowered which I kinda like. He started as a weak player but there are signs of his potentials. He slowly gets used to his Sigil or power as the anime progresses. It’s definitely one of the best this year especially when it comes to the Game category.
Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun

This anime is also known as Toilet-bound Hanako-kun.
The first thing I noticed with this anime is the different art style. It’s not the usual but its certainly cool enough to keep the anime interesting. Though it’s colorful, it’s not that bright compared to other anime like Plunderer which gives the anime a slightly dark feel. However, you’ll be surprised this anime has a good sense of comedy.
Now, one thing for sure, I think this anime would be hit. It has it all, demon, action, unique art style, interesting story, comedy, drama and also a love story. Even though I have only watched the first 3 episodes so far, I’m really looking forward to the rest of the episodes.
It’s fun watching this anime due to the comedy and the likable characters Hanako and Yashiro. I definitely would recommend watching it.

So far, I have only watched the first episode of this anime. Now if you are a cat lover, then most definitely you will like this anime. The main characters in this show include catgirls – Chocola, Vanilla, Maple Cinnamon, Azuki and Coconut. I personally don’t have much interest in this type of anime but surely it will be a good one for the right audience.
The anime is under the Comedy and Romance genre. So far, the comedy side was not able to make me laugh but I know in the coming episodes there will be more funny scenes. And the romance part is something that we would still have to look out for.
I think this romance anime will have a long way to go.

The setting is in a dark place where there is no order, people could just kill anyone. There are guys who could use some magic and those who are very good at it are called “Sorcerers”. These magic-users goes inside this place using a door and test there magic on people.
The main characters in this anime series are Kaiman and Nikaido. The story revolves around the journey of Kaiman aided by Nikaido in search of the sorcerer who turned his face into a reptile. They try to capture magic users(most of the time ends up being killed) in order to find a solution to Kaiman’s problem and hopefully turn him into a human again.
Dorohedoro is an anime of death and carnage so if you like this theme, your in for a treat. I think the action scenes in this anime is something that we all should look forward to.
